Step 1 - Application

I have a supply of licence application forms and can guide you through the application process and even assist in filling in the forms.

Step 2 - Medical

I can help with completing the form and advise you on the making of an appointment with your GP for the LGV medical.

Step 3 - Theory Test

I will point you in the right direction to study for your theory test and even source suitable study material for you to use i.e. books and CDs.

Step 4 - The Training Course

The course will normally be of 5 consecutive days duration with the practical test on the last day. I would usually prefer to have two candidates on the course to minimise costs and maximise training potential.

The course will cover the recommended DSA syllabus, including off - road manoeuvring techniques, as well as introducing candidates to Roadcraft. Roadcraft is the Police Driving Manual on which the Ambulance Emergency Response driving course is based.

Step 5 - The Practical Test

Tests will be pre - booked for the last day of your course and all being well, you should be well prepared and competent enough to take it. Should you not have reached the required standard or even fail on the day I will arrange sufficient refresher training and a re - test at a later date.

Obtaining your C1 licence can seem daunting at first so why not contact me and learn how I can help you through, step by step.
